The Journal

The journal.

The journal is the studio’s long-form house — slower pieces, written in the same unhurried voice as the work itself. Manifesto, craft notes, and the reasoning behind brief decisions that have shaped the studio over the seasons.

What lives here is a sequel to the four pillars on the home page: a place where a sentence can be held longer than a card will hold it, and where the studio can talk about the questions behind the architecture rather than only the silhouette on top of it.

The archive is small by design. One essay at a time means each one earns its place. The plan is to add new entries only when the studio has something worth saying, and only after the photographs from the matching season are in light.

An archive written for the person who already knows why.

First entry.

The archive begins with a single essay — the studio’s first published piece, written to explain the thinking that sits behind every commission the studio takes.
