The first workshop is a slow, collaborative passage from the piece you can imagine to the one you can hold. It begins with Consultation, then moves through Sketch, Mockup, Construction, and Fitting. The sequence stays open enough for the work to lead.

The repair bench covers seam and garment repairs; zipper, Velcro, snap, hook, elastic, and closure replacement; costume alterations and fit adjustments; armor and prop repairs; reattachment of trim and embellishments; structural reinforcement; and custom 3D-printed or fabricated replacement parts.

The studio begins with a photo assessment. Published starting estimates are $20–$40 for minor repairs, $45–$85 for moderate repairs, $90+ for complex restoration, and a separate quote for custom 3D-printed replacement parts. These are starting estimates only; final pricing follows assessment.

Rush and convention repairs are welcome to be discussed through the existing inquiry flow. The published rush estimate is an additional 25–50%, and the studio will review the piece before confirming what can be repaired, restored, or made again.

Photography supports the studio’s custom costume and Character Couture work by documenting, presenting, or creating imagery around a finished piece. It can include creative direction, location, styling, wardrobe, and worldbuilding when the commission calls for it.

Include your name and email, what kind of work you are considering, the timing or deadline range, the scope that feels right, the context in which the piece or image will be used, and a story brief. References, photographs, and half-formed thoughts are welcome; the studio prefers those to a fully written essay.

The studio replies within three business days with an honest answer about what it can and cannot do. That may lead to a Conversation and then Discovery, or it may be a clear “not yet” or “not us” when the calendar or fit is not right.
